Italo House, a unique form of ‘House music’ originating in Italy, gained popularity in Italy, the U.K., and the United States in the late ’80s to early ’90s, and has since become a global sensation, including at Oldskool Tunez Marketplace. This genre initially combined House music with the Italo Disco sound, featuring vocal samples over a House groove, often accompanied by electronic piano chords, influenced by the early Chicago House hits of the late 80s. Artists such as F.P.I. Project and 49ers were instrumental in shaping this distinctive musical style.
